What we collect on algar.ai, why, and how to have it deleted. Updated October 12, 2026.
Who we are
Algar Company (“Algar”, “we”) runs algar.ai. Write to bilal@algar.ai about anything on this page.
What we collect
When you book a call: your name, your work email, what you tell us about your week (if you do), and the time and time zone you pick.
When you visit: like any website, our host and our bot protection see your IP address and browser details, to keep the site running and stop abuse. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees the same. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser keeps what you type in the booking form until you close the tab, so a refresh doesn’t lose it; it reaches us only when you book. After you book, your browser keeps the call’s time (not your name or email) until the call is over, so the form doesn’t book you twice.
What we use it for
To book the call, send your confirmation, calendar invite and reminders, let you move or cancel it, and prepare for the conversation. We don’t sell it, and booking doesn’t add you to a mailing list.
If you’re in the EU or UK: we use your booking details because you asked us to set up the call (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and visit data to keep the site secure (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who handles it for us
Nylas runs our scheduling, Google holds the calendar event and the Meet link, Resend sends our emails, and Vercel hosts the site and its bot protection. Each handles your details only to do that job for us, and may do it in the United States.
How long we keep it
Your booking stays on our calendar and in our email as a record of the call. Ask, and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it: write to bilal@algar.ai. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
We don’t track you across other sites, so we don’t change anything in response to Do Not Track signals.
Algar is for businesses, not children, and we don’t knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
